My Parents Are Now On Elan!

My parents have always tried to keep up with the latest in technology.

When the first Fujitsu plasma TV first came onto the market, they bought one.

When the first LED TV was released, they bought this too!

And this trend has continued over the years until they now have a complicated system in their main living room which you would need a degree and a day training on how to use.

This is where I come in.

They have the TV, Fetch set top box, Integra amplifier, Samsung Bluray player, Apple TV, plus various other remotes for digital photo frames and other accessories.

Additionally, they have a IP CCTV system and an upgraded Paradox Alarm system. Both running separate apps.

PLUS they are also using voice control via Google Home for a few aspects and a new hot tub with smart timing controls for pump activation.

They also have plans to expand into aspects of lighting control, a video doorbell and possibly music throughout the house.

All in all, a pretty complex system.

So, with careful planning and execution, we installed a new Elan control system to control everything in one, easy to use ecosystem.

We installed the Elan system in the living room AV cabinet and connected the security alarm, cameras and hot tub control via IP control.

Done and done!

The system consists of a single app on their devices as well as a dedicated remote control for control of all the living room audio visual equipment.

My parents are extremely happy with the outcome and simplicity of the whole system.
